Simple, honest PDF tools

Merge PDF to 500KB

Combine two or more PDFs, then compress the result toward 500KB. Built for searchers who need one merged file that still fits a portal limit.

This page runs two real steps on our server: merge first, then compress. Targets are best-effort. We show the real final size instead of inventing a guarantee.

How this merge-to-500KB flow works

1. Merge in order

Your PDFs are combined with the same merge engine as our Merge PDF tool. Page order follows the order you selected the files.

2. Compress toward 500KB

The merged file is then sent to our compressor with a 500KB target. Scanned image-heavy PDFs are harder to shrink than text PDFs.

3. Honest result

You get the real before and after sizes. If 500KB is not reachable while staying readable, we return the smallest readable result and say so.

Why people search pdf merge 500kb

Many portals accept one PDF under about 500KB. Merging first often creates a file that is too large, so merge-then-compress is the practical workflow.

When to split instead

If you have dozens of scanned pages, one 500KB file may not stay readable. Split into smaller exhibits, then compress each part.

Privacy note

Files are processed temporarily on the server. Cleanup runs automatically, but you should avoid uploading documents you are not allowed to process.
