Privacy Policy

The short version: your files are processed to do the job you asked for, deleted automatically within 30 minutes, and never sold, shared for marketing, or used to train anything. Here is the full picture.

What happens to uploaded files

When you use a tool, your file is transferred over an encrypted TLS connection to the getPDFpress server, processed, and returned to you. Temporary copies exist on the server only during processing, and an automatic cleanup job deletes leftover files within 30 minutes. There is no account system, so files are never linked to a profile of you.

One exception involves a third party: the PDF to Word and Word to PDF tools send your document to ConvertAPI, a dedicated document conversion service, to perform the conversion itself. The converted file returns through our server to you. If you prefer that your document never touch a third party, simply avoid those two tools; everything else processes on getPDFpress servers only.

Please do not upload documents you are not authorized to process.

What we log

Standard server logs record technical events: request times, tool used, file sizes, and error messages. Logs do not include file contents. We use these to keep the service healthy and debug problems.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage: which pages are visited, which tools are used, and roughly where visitors come from. Analytics uses cookies and collects standard technical data such as browser type and anonymized IP address. It never receives the contents or names of files you process. You can block analytics with standard browser tools and every tool on this site will continue to work normally.

Advertising

Advertising is not currently enabled. If ads are added in the future, this policy will be updated first to describe the ad provider and any additional data collection.

Cookies

The only cookies in use are those set by Google Analytics, described above. The tools themselves work without any cookies.

Your choices

  1. Use the tools without an account: that is the only way we offer them.
  2. Block analytics: everything still works.
  3. Avoid PDF to Word and Word to PDF if you do not want a third-party processor involved.
